HBO Nova Print is the result of a merger of the companies HBO Haugesund Bok & Offset and Nova-Print. Nova-Print was established as a label printing company for the sardine industry in 1846, and HBO started as an offset printing company in 1969. HBO Nova Print is a part of NovaGroup International.

HBO Haugesund Bok & Offset 1969-2019The printing company HBO was established in 1969 by Nils Skiftestad, Øyvind Risanger and John Hillesland. When the first generation retired their sons took over. HBO Nova Print is now owned partly by the sons of those who started the printing business; Dag Skiftestad, Arnt Skiftestad, Helge Risanger, Ørjan Risanger and Arild Risanger. Ørjan Risanger has been the general manager since 2004.
The printing house has been through ups and downs, digitalisation, financial crisis and covid-19, and we stand steady with fantastic colleagues. Nordic Ecolabelled printing company. Part of Printed in Norway. Partner of Two Sides Nordics. Partner of PaperWise. Nova-Print 1846-2019Nova-Print in Stavanger has been producing labels since 1846, and started by serving the sardine industry in Stavanger with labels. It was not until 1964 the name Nova-Print came into place. From 1993 the company was a part of NovaGroup. From 2005 NovaGroup was a part of the Bagel Packaging Group, which was one of Europe's largest printing companies within label production for the food industry. HBO Nova Print is still a part of NovaGroup International.
